引擎：WS-SUP720-3B 主備各一塊

線路卡：WS-X6148X2-45AF 五塊。

Cisco CompactFlash Memory Card, 128 MB 2塊。

該設備原為cisco ios模式，但因當時IOS不支持WS-X6148X2-45AF 線路卡所以采用CatOS模式以支持上述線路卡，后思科推出支持的IOS版本s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF.bin，客戶要求再次改為IOS版本。此兩塊 CompactFlash Memory Card曾在原IOS模式下格式化過，在此次升級過程中兩種模式下（catos和IOS）竟都能寫入。以下為升級過程：



1.首先將備份引擎拔下（支持熱插拔），在catOS下將IOS映象文件拷入CompactFlash Memory Card 中。因IOS大小為70多兆所以用TFTP無法傳也不可靠，所以用FTP傳輸，輸入set ftp username；set ftp password 設置好調用的FTP用戶名和密碼。執(zhí)行：

2.查看當前交換機啟動變量。寄存器值為0x2102,下一步將修改此值為0x0

4.確認此值已修改，并reset。

9.用IOS格式格式化sup-bootflash

10.該步為可選步驟，用來驗證閃存卡是否可寫入，若能寫入則不用再格化?？捎幂^小的IOS文件用TFTP協(xié)議往disk0寫入IOS文件。此次轉換過程中發(fā)現可以寫入，所以沒重新格式化閃存卡，也省去了再傳IOS的步驟。

11.修改啟動參數。下次啟動交換機時直接用disk0中的IOS映象啟動。保存

12.顯示交換處理器的寄存器值，因在catos模式下我們修改交換處理器的寄存值為0x0，所以最后還要將其修改回0x2102.

至此主引擎轉換完畢。關閉電源，將拔出主引擎，插入備份引擎，重復上述將其轉換。備份引擎轉換成功后，可直接將主引擎插入。此時備份引擎處于active 狀態(tài)，而主引擎處于hot standby狀態(tài)。等主引擎完全啟動后，可將備份引擎插拔一次，這樣將恢復成主為active 備為hot standby。

該版本下redundancy模式為SSO模式，因此在插拔任何一塊引擎情況下，ping包沒有丟失。
